Appointing a Consultant

Appointing A ConsultantThe FSA has published guidance to regulated firms on using and appointing compliance consultants. Although this guidance is directed at smaller retail firms it is relevant to all firms. The FSA expects regulated firms to identify the services they require, ensure they appoint a compliance consultancy firm that can meet their needs and then monitor the appointment and act on any recommendations received. The APCC has issued supplementary guidance when appointing a compliance consultancy firm to assist regulated firms in their selection of compliance consultant.
